What these registrations mean — and don’t mean
- Registration with FINTRAC and the Bank of Canada is a registration, not a banking licence or a licence from the Bank of Canada.
- These registrations cover the Canadian entity’s activities in Canada. On their own, they do not authorize activities in other countries.
- Services outside Canada may be provided by other entities or with locally regulated partners, depending on the country and service.
